Temple Echad is an independent, progressive congregation that respects the Mystery of the whole and engages its members in a diverse communal experience of worship, leadership, growth and learning.
We believe in a Judaism that is ever evolving and that takes seriously the call to love thy neighbor as thyself. Thus, our identity as an interfaith synagogue is a model of Jewish leadership that may be unusual, but is not unorthodox.
Our egalitarian core and unaffiliated structure creates space for a powerful and vibrant community that lives out the work of tikkun olam (repairing the world) by first bringing people together in openness and peace.
We are unified by an inner faith that reflects all of our lives and that expands our consciousness beyond religion. Together, we share and promote values and principles of unconditional love, gratitude, self-acceptance and compassion.
